Science and Nature Come Together to Treat Thinning Hair
Clinicure Hair Thinning Solution |
Hair loss is commonplace and yet devastating for those who experience it. According to the
Most people wash their hair every day without paying attention to scalp hygiene. By protecting your scalp and hair today, you can help reduce the risk of developing thinning hair tomorrow. Clinicure Botanical Thinning Hair Solutions from JOICO can help you in your battle, promoting thick and lustrous hair, while visibly reducing the appearance of thinning hair.
Types of Hair Loss
Pattern Baldness (Androgenic Alopecia): The follicles of people who suffer from pattern baldness are sensitive to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). After continued exposure to DHT, follicles begin to miniaturize, shortening the lifespan of each hair follicle affected. Eventually, these affected follicles stop producing cosmetically acceptable hair. In men, pattern baldness can begin very early, even in the teens or early 20s. It's typically characterized by a receding hairline at the temples and balding at the top of the head. Women with pattern baldness usually have hair loss limited to thinning at the front, sides or crown.
Spot Baldness (Alopecia Areata): Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system attacks the hair follicles. Hair loss usually occurs in small, round, smooth patches about the size of a quarter. Usually the disease doesn't extend beyond a few bare patches on the scalp, but it can cause patchy hair loss on any area that has hair, including eyebrows, eyelashes and beard. Most cases of alopecia areata resolve themselves within one year.
Diffuse Shedding (Telogen Effluvium): Telogen effluvium is caused by a metabolic or hormonal stressor or by medication. Here more hairs than normal enter the resting phase of the hair cycle. This type of temporary hair loss occurs suddenly, causing overall thinning rather than bald patches. Acute telogen effluvium typically resolves itself within six months.
Traction Alopecia: Bald patches can occur if you regularly wear certain hairstyles, such as pigtails, braids or cornrows, or if you use tight rollers. Hair loss typically occurs between the rows or at the part where hair is pulled tightly.

Clincure provides essential nutrients to help strengthen and protect the hair.
Clinicure contains antioxidants to neutralize free radicals on the scalp.
Clinicure is an excellent adjunct therapy when combined with other hair loss treatments, such as Propecia.

JOICO CLINICURE INGREDIENT LIST:
Gingko (Gingko Biloba) - Ginkgo has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat circulatory disorders. Laboratory studies have shown that GBE improves blood circulation by dilating blood vessels and reducing the stickiness of blood platelets. Ginkgo leaves also contain two types of chemicals (flavonoids and terpenoids) believed to have potent antioxidant properties. Additionally, early studies have shown ginkgo biloba extract appears to arrest the progression of vitiligo, an autoimmune disease related to alopecia areata (single spot hair loss).
Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) - In traditional Chinese medicine, ginseng is viewed as an adaptogenic herb, normalizing the functions of the body, including reducing the risk of hair loss. In a study conducted earlier this year at the
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- Glycyrrhetinic acid, a derivative synthesized from licorice, has a similar structure to that of cortisone. As such, licorice has potent anti-inflammatory effects. Since the causative factor in developing androgenic alopecia is believed to be a sensitivity to DHT, substances which are anti-inflammatory could potentially reduce local inflammation and modulate the immune response.
Nettle (Urtica dioica) - Nettle has been shown to alleviate dandruff as well as increase the sheen of hair. Nettle belongs to a class of substances that are topical irritants. Capsaicin, a similar substance to nettle, has been studied with positive results for the treatment of alopecia areata. By increasing blood circulation to the area and reducing cytokine expression, nettle may help alleviate hair loss caused by an immune response.
Vitamin B6 (Pyroxidine HCl) - Clinical studies have suggested that Pyroxidine HCl may help prevent dandruff, sebhorrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. Additionally, it plays a role in balancing hormonal changes in women. Since hormonal changes are a contributing factor in developing androgenic alopecia in women, Pyroxidine HCl may help reduce the risk of development or inhibit further progression of female androgenic alopecia.
Yi Yi Ren (Coix lacrymajobi) - In traditional Chinese Medicine, yi yi ren is a therapeutic herb used to reduce inflammation in the body as well as to treat eczema and conditions of the scalp.
